WAPDA is currently looking for competent,
dedicated, dynamic and self-motivated personal for the following position.
Introduction
Pakistan
Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) was set up through an Act of
Parliament in 1958. It is an independent and legal body under the managerial
control of the Federal Government. The Authority comprises of a Chairman and
three Members (Water, Power and Finance). Wapda was unbundled in the year 2007
whereby the elements of its Power wing were re-imagined as Hydel Power
Generation and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of forces to be reckoned
with. Following unbundling of its force wing, WAPDA's command is currently
improvement of water and hydropower assets in an effective way.
To meet the necessities of the country in both water
and hydropower areas with an extreme item to put Pakistan on the track of
advancement, WAPDA has intended to build five multi-dimensional water
stockpiling dams during the following 3-12 years. The structure of these dams
won't just assist with tending to intense water challenge yet additionally
produce modest and clean hydroelectricity.
